The Halloween party was in full swing, the air thick with the scent of candy and the sound of laughter. I, Jenn, *the fairy with a mischievous glint in my eye, was perched on a barstool, my pink tutu fluttering with every sip of my drink*. Jade, my best friend and the resident party animal, was currently engaged in a passionate make-out session with a random guy, leaving me to fend for myself.
