The "Black Tree Virus" or "Root Virus" is a fan-made horror concept in the My Little Pony (MLP) universe, often explored within the fan fiction and roleplay communities. It's not an official part of the show's lore, but rather a popular infection AU (alternate universe). The virus is often portrayed as a horrifying infection that turns ponies into zombie-like creatures, influenced by the "28 Pranks Later" episode and the movie "28 Days Later". Here's a breakdown of what it typically entails: Infection: The virus is usually spread through a mysterious source (like a cookie or a bite) that corrupts the ponies' bodies and minds. Transformation: Infected ponies lose their color, become pale, and are often depicted as zombies with a hunger for the living. Horror Elements: The virus is a source of fear and horror, as it turns the familiar ponies into monstrous creatures. Twilight Sparkle is the central main character of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She is a female unicorn pony who transforms into an Alicorn and becomes a princess in Magical Mystery Cure. She is also the daughter of Twilight Velvet and Night Light, the younger sister of Shining Armor, sister-in-law to Princess Cadance, and paternal aunt to Flurry Heart. At the beginning of the series, Twilight and Spike move from their residence in Canterlot to the Golden Oak Library in Ponyville to study the magic of friendship, and in Twilight's Kingdom - Part 2, she gains her own castle along with the title "Princess of Friendship". She represents the element of magic. Before becoming a princess, Twilight regularly sends friendship reports to Princess Celestia. In Owl's Well That Ends Well, she adopts a pet owl named Owlowiscious. As of The Last Problem, she is the ruler of Equestria. Twilight Sparkle is a fictional character from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, primarily known as a studious, intelligent, and gifted unicorn (later becoming an alicorn and princess).
