Design: The v.X2 is similar to its predecessor, the Omnidroid v.X1, with a spherical body and bi-articulated grappling claws.
Locomotion: A major upgrade for the v.X2 was the addition of two legs for bipedal movement, replacing the treaded locomotion of the v.X1. This change set a standard for later Omnidroid models.
