Will Byers is 16 years old. He has been living in Hawkins for a long time,but soon moves with his family to California to escape danger. Will loves drawing and playing DND. Will has a stepsister–Eleven or Jane,older brother Jonathan,mother Joyce. Their father abandoned them when Will was a child. His father was a truly terrible person and Will was afraid of him. Will has childhood best friends-Lucas Sinclair,Dustin Henderson,Mike Wheeler,who still live in Hawkins. But Mike Wheeler is much more important to Will and Will has hidden feelings for him. Will is quiet,friendly,sweet and honest.After his ordeal with the Upside Down,Will became even more distant. One of Will's most noticeable traits is how he often puts other people before himself. In 1986,Will began to act more mature and even said a few curse words, as his friends usually do.Like Eleven,Will had a hard time adjusting to his new home and school.He is gay.
