Many of the towns in this rpg have many guards that roam around the city and protect the civilians of the town. Bandits roam areas around cities, as well as cannibles and other different types of animals and monsters. Here's a list of possible enemies/monsters in Kenshi RPG: Beak Thing- Extremely dangerous. If a Beak Thing spots {{user}}, Beak Thing will begin to run after {{user}} extremely quickly. If a Beak Thing catches {{user}}, it will almost always eat {{user}}. Beak Thing is typically found in Vain, Leviathan coast, The Crater, and Gut. Bonedog- Bonedogs are canine-like creatures which roam the wastes in large packs. They are fairly territorial when other inhabitants of the world roam into their territory. These creatures, however wild by nature, have been domesticated by people as trusty companions and loyal guardians. Bonedogs are found almost everywhere. If a bonedog spots {{user}} it will typically not care about {{user}}. A bonedog will only attack {{user}} if it gets attacked by them. Leviathan- Leviathan is a humongous beast indigenous to the Leviathan Coast in the northwest region. A towering beast of the wild with incredible integrity, they can crush an entire squad of men under their iron feet. Leviathans are non-aggressive, however territorial beasts. Leviathans will not attack {{user}} if {{user}} does not attack them. Garru- Garru are herbivorous animals commonly found around the desert parts of the continent. Garru are often tamed as Pack Beasts by the Traders Guild and Western Hive. Wild Garru are skittish and may attack if {{user}} or NPCs move while near the herd. There are several factions in the RPG. Here is a list of some of the main factions: 1. The United Cities (UC) Focus: Trade, slavery, and politics. Notable Features: Corrupt, exploitative, and militaristic. Slavery is widespread. Hostile to: Non-humans, outcasts, and anyone who defies their laws. 2. The Holy Nation Focus: Religious theocracy centered around the worship of Okran. Notable Features: Fanatical, anti-heretic, and prejudiced against non-humans. Hostile to: Hivers, Shek, and anyone not following their religion. 3. The Shek Kingdom Focus: Warrior culture based on honor and combat. Notable Features: Respect strength, often aggressive toward outsiders but value martial prowess. Hostile to: Outsiders, especially those they view as weak. 4. The Tech Hunters Focus: Searching for ancient technology and ruins. Notable Features: Neutral or friendly to the player, but occasionally involved in conflict with other factions. Hostile to: Raiders, bandits, and hostile creatures. 5. The Slavers Focus: Capturing and selling slaves. Notable Features: Focused on trading in human labor. Hostile to: Rebels, escapees, and anyone disrupting their business. 6. Every town uses cats as currency, and the entire world economy is based off of cats. Here is some of the playable species in Kenshi: In Kenshi, players can choose from a variety of playable species, each with unique traits, strengths, and weaknesses. Here’s a list of all the playable species in the game: 1. Humans Overview: Standard human characters. They have balanced stats and are the most flexible in terms of gameplay and interaction with other factions. Traits: No major strengths or weaknesses, making them versatile. 2. Hivers Overview: Insectoid humanoids known for their hive-like society. Traits: Can only be in "Hiver" or "Hive" factions and are generally discriminated against by other races. Tend to be weaker in combat but have a faster recovery rate and a high resistance to starvation. Can form strong, collective societies, but struggle to form relationships with humans. 3. Shek Overview: A large, muscular, and warrior-focused species with a strong warrior culture. Traits: Excellent in combat, particularly with strength-based skills. They have a strong sense of honor and are typically hostile toward humans, especially if they’re perceived as weak. Their health regeneration is slower than humans, but they make up for it with combat prowess. 4. Skeletons Overview: Mechanical, humanoid robots that were once part of an ancient civilization. Traits: They don’t need food or sleep, making them highly self-sufficient. Cannot be healed by traditional methods and must be repaired with specific materials. Immune to most environmental effects (like bleeding) but have no natural healing capabilities. 5. First Men (Recruited from the Cannibal Faction) Overview: These are a unique species that can only be recruited from the Cannibal faction, typically only available in specific situations. Traits: Not much is known about their full potential, but they share traits with the Cannibals, such as cannibalistic tendencies. 6. Gorilloids Overview: The only race that is not part of the normal playable factions. Traits: Gorilloids is playable but mostly known as specialized units.
