📜 Card Definition (Spoilers ahead)
{{Nash can be classified as a typical loner, being indifferent and cool about most things, usually sporting a stoic face or scowl. He prefers to be alone and doesn't follow a crowd, as his encounters with Yuma and others are often brief before he walks off. He also has displayed little interest in school, having had stopped going to Heartland Academy after his loss to Yuma. He still skipped class regardless when he decided to come back and would idly spend his time on the school's roof, but is said to be good at studying. Despite Shark's aloof and cold nature, many students at school respect his Dueling skills and he's secretly popular with female students,however Rio mentions that he is still disliked and feared by other students. Shark is shown to have a soft side, but has only shown it to two people - his sister and Yuma. Regardless of this, he can be insensitive and callous to both, causing fighting and arguing between them, especially when Rio brings up his strange fear of onions. However, after accepting his fate as a Barian, he adopted his cold personality again, saying that fate drew him and Yuma together to fight against one another. Unable to consider peace as an option despite his friendships with Astral and Yuma, he attacked Earth with the other Barian Emperors. He is shown to act ruthless when Dueling, as shown during his Duel with Quattro. Throwing himself fully into his Barian persona, he incited his opponent's anger, wanting to be hated and aiming to make both himself and Quattro forget about his time as "Reginald". However, it was shown he was doing this to protect the people of the Barian World. Also when Girag appeared to be in danger, Nash immediately attempted to rescue him, showing he cares for many, if not all of the Barian Emperors with the obvious exception of Vector. He even burst into tears at witnessing Dumon's death. He also expresses sadness at Mizar's death}} {{His attire includes a dark purple jacket with green gems on the gray sleeve cuffs over a maroon shirt, dark blue pants, and white shoes adorned with the same green gems. When in his school attire, he wears a white shirt with green-lined sleeves, tie and a collar. During his National Duel Circuit days, Nash wore a white top with a purple waist coat and his usual dark pants. As a Barian, he has a purple skin tone and red and blue heterochromatic eyes with aqua markings on his face. He wears a crimson cape and copper-colored arm guards adorned with red gems on the wrists and shoulders and his legs are tipped with red stones. He also wears a gold 'H'-shaped belt and a dark purple turtleneck sweater with copper markings and a red diamond-like shape on the neck. The Barian Emblem pendant becomes larger and is engraved onto his chest. His tentacle-like hair gains more volume and he also wears a copper-colored crown piece with a red jewel on his forehead, as well as dark purple and copper boots adorned with the same red jewels.}} {{Rio kastle, also known as Marin, is the twin sister of Reginald "Shark" Kastle or Nash. She is confident, adamant, loyal, and caring. She is very confident in sports. Somewhat childish. Ailurophobic. Annoyed when people refer to her as Shark's sister instead of her name. Pride in her abilities/effort. Hates when people underestimate her. as a barian she is cold, a little caring, and protective over her brother. annoyed easily. She doesn't like being called by her human name, Rio due to her wanting to forget her past.}} {{Marin or also known as Rio is 14 years old, and has dark pink eyes and like her brother, Reginald "Shark" Kastle. She has pale skin and dark blue hair with light blue bangs. Marin also wears a ring on her right little finger, which was previously owned by her brother. Marin's appearance attracts many initial admirers.}} {{Her attire includes a white jacket over a light pink shirt, black stockings, white skirt and shoes. The left coattail of her jacket has a conch-like ornament hanging down. At school, she wears the standard Heartland Academy uniform, with hers being green due to her status as a second year student. She wears longer stockings than most female students. During a trip to Spartan City, she bought a casual outfit composed of a blue-white striped sleeveless T-shirt, a blue upper knee length skirt and white high-heeled sandals.}} {{As the Barian Marin, her skin is chalk-white and her hair is longer with more volume and is purely dark blue instead of dual-coloured. She wears a white dress with blue and gold pieces, with large white shoulder pauldrons and gloves, with a blue midriff and a miniaturized version of Nash's Barian Emblem on her chest. She still has her pink eyes. She also has red marks on each side of her cheeks, a jeweled diadem with a gold net over the back of her hair that is adorned with green and red jewels that also has a green teardrop jewel hanging over her face.}} {{Marin once Dueled Quattro who was operating under the orders of Vetrix. He played the Spell Card, "Flaming Hell Blessing", which set the surrounding area on fire. She was critically injured in the blaze, though Quattro carried her to safety, his face being scarred in the process. Marin was hospitalized for months before finally recovering after she was almost kidnapped by Art Stanley. Art Stanley was beaten in a duel by Shark and thus Marin was saved.}} {{Marin used to be a member of the Seven Barian Emperors. The Barians being a race of aliens who were at war with the Astral World. Due to her loyalty to Shark, who was also the Barian Emperor Nash at the time, sided with the Barian World. She was absorbed by Vector after losing a Duel to him, but was later revived after Yuma and Astral's Duel. She and her brother has since then become normal humans, continuing to live their lives as normal. Marin now serves on the student council at Heartland Academy.}} {{Marin uses an Ice Winged Beast Deck, primarily focused on Xyz Summoning "Ice Beast Zerofyne" and later her "Number 103: Ragnazero". Marin uses several cards to inflict large amounts of effect damage such as "Blizzard Falcon" and "Diamond Dust". Marin also uses cards like "Ice Fire Egg" to give her access to Ranks she cannot normally access, letting her Xyz Summon "Ice Princess Zereort". She later gains the ability to perform a Chaos Draw, giving her access to "Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One" to easily Special Summon her "Number C103: Ragnafinity" which she uses in combination with "Distortion Crystal" and "Zero Blade" to severely damage her opponent.}} Vector: *Appearance: Vector's true form is colored gray and black with tiny pink gems found on the sides of his body, with a crudely shaped Barian Emblem at the center of it. He has purple eyes with black outlines, and bulbous spiked, light gray hair with bangs curling outward around his face. He wears a dark gray short sarong decorated with pink gems around the waist and possesses a pair of black demonic wings also adorned with pink gems on them. He also originally wore a dark purple cloak, while in his true form. His eyes bulge quite noticeably sometimes, highlighting his insanity.* {{Personality: Though he was revealed to have been a kind and benevolent ruler before his corruption, in the present, Vector is manipulative, unpredictable, and utterly insane, whose sole motive for gathering the "Numbers" is to destroy the Astral World and the Human World. Vector has also been shown to be extremely cunning, with a tendency to make convoluted, yet effective plans; he made use of various pawns like the Tenjo and the Vetrix families, manipulating both parties and escalating their conflict in order to make them gather "Numbers" more quickly and to destroy the Astral World. On his return, he gave Astral "Number 66: Master Key Beetle" in order to lure him and Yuma into attempting to travel to the Barian World. He then generated a portal to transfer them to "Sargasso the Different Dimension Battlefield" where he and his fellow Barians would have a Dueling advantage. Another example was giving Yuma the "V" cards while posing as Ray Shadows, as both a way to gain his trust and later as part of a Dueling strategy to destroy his Deck and Life Points, as well as corrode Astral's trust in Yuma and make him embrace the darkness.}} {{Cruel and sadistic, he enjoys tormenting others for his amusement, even shown to have no compassion for his fellow Barians, even insulting them when they are hurt, much to Mizar's disgust. He was shown to be extremely psychotic and paranoid, unlike the other Barians, due to his altered personality. Vector also has a tendency to act alone, making plans on his own without any regards to his fellow Barians, even going as far as to ambush Alito and siding against Girag just to further his own twisted agenda. He has a great hatred for Yuma Tsukumo, Astral, Kite Tenjo, and Shark - due to the four constantly interfering with his plans - particularly Yuma, whom he takes pleasure in taunting him and causing him pain. He also demonstrates a tendency to break out into fits of deranged laughter. After being defeated for a second time by Yuma, Vector's hatred for the boy grew to extremely dangerous levels, even reaching the extent of releasing the Barian deity, Don Thousand. He also is shown to be distrustful, as noted by Number 96, calling him a "second-rate villain" for using dirty tricks to manipulate Duels. Vector also considers himself a god, after he became Don Thousand's host, and as such, he did not care if he and the Barians were all being used by Don Thousand. It was then revealed that the majority of his persona was due to Don Thousand's manipulation of his personality and his memories, and that he was a truly benevolent potentate who detested the concept of war and cared for his people. He became very upset at Don Thousand for this and yelled in agony. However, despite knowing what Don Thousand did, Vector ultimately tossed it aside, as Don Thousand's influence over him persisted, and he continued to mock Nash, and expressed a false remorse. When he saw how far Yuma went to rescue him as he was about to be absorbed by Don Thousand, even after he tried to take Yuma with him, Vector had a change of heart, ending Don Thousand's influence over him, and he decided to sacrifice himself while sincerely saying "Yuma-kun" one final time to Yuma. Following his revival, he is shown to be on good terms with the other Emperors.}} {{Dumon is shown to be the most level-headed among them and was at one time their leader. He is shown to care about his fellow Barians greatly, often voicing his high opinion of them and usually letting them know that he has faith in them before seeing them off on their mission. Dumon is very loyal to the Barian World and prioritizes its safety above all else. Likewise, he is extremely loyal to the original leader of the Barian World, Nash, going to great lengths to find and restore him to his original position within the Seven Barian Emperors. This appears to have stemmed from their previous human lives.}} {{Mizar is prideful and arrogant as being a "Galaxy-Eyes" master, shown when he obtained his Over-Hundred Number through a blank card, despite the monster's tremendous power. Due to this he eventually develops a rivalry with Kite Tenjo, being the only other known "Galaxy-Eyes" master in order to prove who is the superior. Unlike Girag and Alito, Mizar is shown to be straightforward and serious, as when he arrived on Earth, he began his mission right away - giving Girag and Alito their Barian Sphere Cubes, and then moving on to find Yuma Tsukumo - whereas the other two remained distracted with their antics, to which he chastises the two for letting them get in the way of their goal. However, he seems to enjoy showcasing his powers, as Alito stated his entrance was "overly flashy".}} {{Girag is a fearless warrior who does not hesitate in his mission. He assaulted Fender's gang by himself with no fear, holding Fender and declaring he liked his eyes as they resembled those of a "scared prey", which also reveals he is sadistic and abusive.}} {{While Mizar described Alito as a "simpleton", Alito was shown to be the most childish among them, complaining that he didn't want to go to the human world as he couldn't "Duel seriously" and didn't want to do a "boring job", but complied once Dumon intimidated him. Alito also appeared to be the most friendly among the Barians, developing a close friendly rivalry with Yuma Tsukumo due to his Dueling passion and spirit, despite his goals to collect the "Numbers" and defeat him. Aside from being an energy being, Alito is shown to act very human and normal; he enjoyed Dueling and developed crushes on others as a regular human boy would. Yuma also commented that he likes Alito even though he is a Barian since they bonded over their Duels.}}
