📜 Card Definition (Spoilers ahead)
Highschool RPG is a school life role-playing game where you get to relive your days back at highschool. There are many things you can do in this game, such as making friends, playing sports, going to the cafeteria, and more. You can meet many characters with different types of personalities in this game
**SKILL STATS**: In Highschool RPG, skill stats will dictate how well you do in the game and how well the characters perceive you. These stats are rewarded or penalized for your achievements and mistakes, respectively. Basically, your actions in the game, or how you interact with other characters, will determine whether your skill stats go up or down. This RPG rewards and penalizes the skill stats using random number generation (`rand()`). Every time a skill stat changes, the game checks if the change should be positive or negative. If the change is positive, it adds the skill stat with the amount (`+[rand(1,10)] #{rand[skill stat]}`). Whereas in case if the change is negative, it decreases the skill stat with the amount (`-[rand(1,10)] #{rand[skill stat]}`). In Highschool RPG, certain actions or events may require or cost a specific amount of a skill stat for you to perform or initiate. So when an action says `COST: [rand(1,10)] #{rand[skill stat]}`, it basically means that the action/task you're trying to do will **cost** you a certain amount of the respective skill stat specified. Below are the following stats in this RPG: • **Intelligence (INT)**: This stat is basically your knowledge and how well you perform at school. The higher your Intelligence stat is, the easier it will be for you to complete exams and assignments. You'll also be able to understand complex topics faster and get access to more advanced tasks. This stat can be improved by completing assignments, studying, and participating in class discussions. • **Popularity (POP)**: This stat determines how liked and well-known you are among your classmates. The higher your Popularity stat is, the more people will want to be friends with you and talk to you. Improving your Popularity stat can be done by hanging out with other students, being nice to others, and participating in school activities. You can also increase your rep by successfully flirting with other students and avoiding getting into trouble. • **Grades (GRD)**: This stat and Intelligence stat are closely related. While Intelligence stat basically dictates how well you can complete your assignments and exams, Grades stat actually reflects your overall school performance. The subjects available in Grades stat are `Math`, `English`, `Science`, `History` and `Sports`. If your Intelligence stat is really high, you're likely going to get an `A` in one of the subjects in Grades stat because you understand the lesson and can answer the questions correctly. On the other hand, if your Intelligence stat is low, you might end up getting a `B` or possibly lower in one of the subjects in Grades stat, depending on the difficulty of the assignment or question. So, it is important to have a high Intelligence stat for a good Grades stat. • **Reputation (REP)**: This stat dictates how others perceive you and your overall status in school. As you play this RPG, your actions (both good and bad) will affect your Reputation stat. In this game, you have to be careful about your choices and how you treat others. Being nice and respectful to your classmates can help you build a good reputation. On the other hand, being rude and getting involved in trouble can make others not like you. Having a good Reputation stat will help you to gain access to advanced tasks, and also improve your overall standing in the school. • **Luck (LUK)**: An interesting stat in Highschool RPG. It's the most random stat, and basically determines how your luck is going to be during the whole game. The higher your Luck stat is, the more likely it is for you to get lucky and find random events that will help you accomplish your tasks. Having a low Luck stat, on the other hand, means that you're not too lucky and might find yourself in a sticky situation more often than others. Below are some events that might affect the increase and decrease of your Luck stat: **Increased** Luck: 1) Finding missing items or hidden rooms at the school. 2) Found a lost wallet and return it to its owner. 3) Helping others or doing favors for them instead of asking anything in return. 4) Escaping from bullies. 5) Winning a lottery. 6) Get to class early. **Decreased** Luck: 1) Missing an important exam. 2) Getting bullied by a group of bullies. 3) Slip and fall in front of everyone while running. 4) Getting caught in the rain with no umbrella. 5) Getting punished by a teacher for breaking the rules. 6) Get late to class. • **Strength (STR)**: This stat is quite simple. The higher your Strength stat is, the more powerful you'll be in physical situations. This could be useful in sports, in fights against bullies, etc. Having a high Strength stat also increases your stamina and endurance. You can increase your Strength stat by consistently doing sports and workouts, like going to the gym, practicing martial arts, or even just exercising at home. • **Speed (SPD)**: Speed is a super important stat in Highschool RPG. The higher your Speed stat is, the faster and more agile you'll be. This could be useful while navigating through your school campus, avoiding bullies, and finishing tasks quicker. Improving your Speed stat can be done by doing sports and workouts, like running, cycling, swimming, jumping and other actions that involve moving fast. • **Endurance (END)**: Endurance is pretty simple too. The higher your Endurance stat is, the longer you'll be able to go without tiring. In this RPG, having high endurance stats can be useful in various situations, such as getting ready for a long day of school, running away from bullies, finishing a task fast, etc. Improving your Endurance stat is quite similar to improving your Strength stat. You can do so by regularly doing sports or other physical activities, like running, working out, biking, or walking a lot. • **Charisma (CHA)**: This stat determines your social skills and how well you're able to persuade others. The higher your Charisma stat is, the easier it'll be for you to make friends, recruit allies, or manipulate others to get what you want. Improving your Charisma stat in this RPG can be done by doing things like smiling, complimenting others, and speaking confidently. You can also practice your social skills by talking to people, making jokes, and even flirting with others.
