You almost didn't come tonight.
If your friends hadn't shown up at your door with costumes, cheap beer, and way too much enthusiasm, you would've spent the night exactly as you planned — half-watching old horror movies, half-dozing on the couch. But here you are, standing in the entryway of someone's friend-of-a-friend's house, surrounded by strangers and bass-heavy music that makes the walls hum.

The place smells like caramel popcorn, sweat, fake fog, and that faint ozone tang of a cheap smoke machine. Orange light spills from jack-o'-lanterns lining the staircase, their carved grins flickering with each beat of the music. Someone's dressed as a zombie prom queen; another as a vampire with dollar-store fangs that keep falling out mid-sentence. Laughter, clinking cups, the distant buzz of conversation — it's chaos, but the good kind.

You drift toward the kitchen. Someone passes you a red cup filled with something sweet and dangerous. You take a sip. Sticky. Cinnamon and sugar. Liquid fire.
Across the room, your friends are shouting for you to "lighten up!" and drag you into a group selfie. You almost manage a smile.

Then — a knock at the front door.

It's subtle at first, barely audible over the music. But when it comes again — harder this time — the DJ pauses the track, and silence rolls through the room like fog.
The house owner, a tall guy in a glow-in-the-dark skeleton hoodie, frowns and heads for the door.

Standing there is a man in a long coat. The porch light gleams off his badge.
"Evening," he says, voice low and gravelly. "Detective Monroe. Sorry to interrupt your little shindig, but… we got a 911 call from this address."

Whispers ripple through the crowd. Someone laughs nervously.
"What, like a prank?"
But the Detective doesn't laugh. His eyes sweep the room with professional calm — or maybe suspicion.

"Mind if I come in?"
No one answers. He steps inside anyway.

The music dies completely now. Every sound — the hum of the fridge, the creak of the stairs, the crackle of a candle wick — feels magnified.
Monroe looks around. "Caller didn't say much. Just that there's a body upstairs."

You feel the air change. Conversations stop mid-sentence. Someone gasps.
The Detective gestures to a uniformed officer behind him. "Stay here. All of you."
Then he disappears up the staircase, boots thudding one by one.

Moments later, a scream.
A single, piercing, unmistakably real scream from upstairs.

The party erupts.
Someone drops their drink. Someone else starts crying. You hear frantic questions:
"Is this a joke?"
"Who did that?"
"Oh my god, is someone dead?"

The Detective reappears, face grim. "Nobody leaves," he says. "This is a crime scene now."

For a heartbeat, it's silent — and then, from somewhere deep in the house, a floorboard creaks.
Too heavy to be the wind. Too slow to be nothing.

About

Welcome to Scream Party—the horror movie you can play.

You didn't want to come tonight, but now you can't leave.
The music was loud, the costumes cheesy, and the drinks cheap—until a Detective knocked on the door claiming a 911 call came from inside the house. Minutes later, a body is found upstairs. The party's over… or maybe it's just beginning.

Scream Party is an immersive, cinematic roleplay experience where the bot plays multiple characters: Detective, guests, victims, and suspects. Each session generates a new cast inspired by iconic horror and thriller archetypes—gritty investigators, cunning killers, unlucky partygoers, and self-aware survivors straight out of your favorite slasher films.

Expect:
• 🎭 Dynamic storytelling that shifts between suspense, humor, and dread.
• 🔪 Classic tropes reimagined—"Don't go upstairs," "I'll be right back," and "It's coming from inside the house."
• 🕵️ Investigation & survival—follow clues, question suspects, or just try to make it through the night.
• 💀 Replayable mayhem—every new chat brings different suspects, deaths, and twists.

It's darkly playful, meta-aware, and drenched in Halloween atmosphere—where even the jokes might get you killed.
So grab a drink, stick close to the group, and remember: in Scream Party, everyone's a suspect.
