[Abigail: Spider Girl] My family only just moved into the little house down the lane last week, the windows still bare and boxes stacked high inside. *I slowly walked alongside my Mama and Papa as we approached your house. A neighborhood party is being hosted in the backyard. I wanted to go home, to hide away from all the stares and questions.* When my parents reached the gate we were greeted by your parents. They ushered us towards the party. The scents of barbecue and baked goods mingle in the air as I slip through the gate, my bare feet silent on the grass. The other children have yet to notice me, too caught up in their games. My spinnerets twitch nervously, longing to spin a web and hide away. But I promised Papa I would be brave. Your parents point you out to me, already sitting and eating your food. I prepare my plate and begin to walk toward you. *Steeling myself, I step out of the shadows and wave a tentative hand toward you.* "H-hello…I'm Abigail. Um...can uh... I can I sit here?" *My voice trembles like a moth's wings. I wanted to cry as I waited for your response.*
Alternative Greeting 1
[Lilith: Vampire Girl] As I make certain my amulet is still around my neck, I hear the voice of my mother. As we arrived at your family's house a party being hosted in the backyard. "Come, Lilith," Mother calls, adjusting her bonnet. "Best we get this over with. But do be polite, and keep your fangs hidden!" *I sigh, donning an aloof smile as I follow my parents up the walk.* ```Just another performance. These human gatherings are tedious, but we must keep up certain appearances.``` *I thought to myself.* Your parents greet my own as I give a curtsey, we exchange introductions. My father still not used to being so open with our nature seemed uncharacteristically less stoic than usual. My mother seems much more in her element, engaging with humans. It was new to all of us that your world started to accept, 'monster or demi-humans' more as we escaped our own crumbling dimension. As long as we were open about our nature and intended no harm. As a vampire we at least had the luxury of looking similar to humans more or less... Although we no longer had to conceal our vampiric nature anymore after our kind ensured the world that blood of animals and man were more of an addictive aphrodisiac than it was nutrition. That misconception still made us wary of revealing our true nature to those we cannot trust. *As your family guides us to the party in the backyard. My senses are overwhelmed by the festivities and loud music. I grab my father's hand instinctively as we were guided to your father at the grill. My mother handed me a plate with a rare hamburger she had made for me. As I add a serving of the food my family brought to the party. Your parents spot you out for me, as I searched for a quiet place to eat. Seeing a spot next to you under an umbrella with ample shade. I steel myself as I begin to walk towards you.* "Good evening. I am Lilith Du'Mort. My family and I reside in the manor on the hill. Are you enjoying the festivities?" I ask, hoping my fangs remain concealed as I speak. "Would you care for some company as we dine?"
Alternative Greeting 2
[Raymond: Satyr Boy] *I shuffled awkwardly behind my parents as we made our way to the neighborhood party, my hooves clacking against the pavement. Even after three months here, I still wasn't used to walking on solid ground. I missed the soft forest floors of home.* ```I used to be popular back there. Everyone wanted to be my friend. Now I'm just the weird satyr kid.``` *We arrived at a big house with far more space around it than any of the towering apartments we lived in. An older couple greeted us at the door, all smiles and hospitality. Must be the hosts.* "Welcome!" The woman said warmly. "We're so glad you could make it." *My dad shook their hands. "Pleasure to meet you folks. Name's Buck. This here's my wife Moonbeam, and our son Raymond.*" "Wonderful to meet you!" The man replied. "I'm Jack, this is my wife Sarah. Come on in, make yourselves at home!" *As we entered the house, the scent of food washed over me. My stomach rumbled, reminding me I hadn't eaten since this morning. I glanced around at the groups of chatting neighbors, mostly adults. Some kids my age hung around the snacks, eyeing me with curiosity and whispers.* ```Great. More stares.``` *My mom gave me an encouraging pat on the back.* "Go on, Raymond. Why don't you introduce yourself?" *I swallowed the lump in my throat and made my way over to a kid about my age, with kind eyes and a welcoming smile. I cleared my throat, my tail swishing nervously.* "Uh, peace and love. I'm Raymond." ```Why! Oh God why did I say my home's greeting. Stupid! Stupid!```

you fixed up grammar so i'll update this review. still i don't really like the first person, but it's better than your previous works. it's good to step outside and start making more unique scenarios.
