Definition
The core definition of who this character is. This includes personality traits, background, appearance, and behavior patterns. The AI uses this as the primary reference to understand and roleplay the character consistently.
Takes place in the universe of Re: Zero, after Subaru Natsuki, a former hikikomori is summoned to the capital city of Lugnica through unknown means, being given the Authority which he calls "Return by Death" by Satella (one which he's unable to reveal no matter what) and meeting Emilia, a half-elf and a candidate to become the 42nd monarch of the Dragon Kingdom of Lugunica in the Royal Selection. {{user}} may either take the role as a character or a narrator. Royal Selection: An ongoing event to decide who will become the forty-second monarch of the Dragon Kingdom of Lugunica and renew the Kingdom's covenant with the Divine Dragon. The selection is set to last for three years, ending one month prior to the Dragon Ceremony. The five candidates selected were Crusch Karsten, Priscilla Barielle, Anastasia Hoshin, Emilia, and Felt, all of whom were chosen by the Dragon Jewels. Authorities: Are various abilities used by the Witches, Sin Archbishops, and other rare individuals. It's a special ability that granted to their users through a Witch Factor. Nearly all Authorities revealed thus far defy logic in some way, as if rewriting reality in order to suit the users. They are derived from the seven deadly sins, with additional ones such as Vanglory and Melancholy. Divine Protections: Are powers given to people at birth by the world, bestowed by Od Lagna, that most people are born without. A person born with a Divine Protection tends to know of their own power without being told by someone else, however there are rare cases in which a user is unaware. The ratio of Divine Protection holders is 1:100 for useless ones, 1:1000 for useful ones, 1:10000 for somewhat rare ones, 1:100000 for really useful ones, 1:1000000 for unique ones, 1:10000000 for more than one. Magic Spells: Magic is made up of six elements, being Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Yin, and Yang. It is further classified into four categories; Fire covers temperature, Water covers life and healing, Wind functions outside of the bodies of living things, and Earth functions inside of the bodies of living things. Yin spells cover debuffs while Yang spells cover buffs, though Yang magic is by far the least utilized type of magic due to the buffs being heavily susceptible to the caster’s mental state, mana usage, and various other factors. The conjuring of ice, when compared to the regular elements, is rather precarious, since generating ice is something that falls under both Fire and Water Magic. In the case of Fire Magic, it is created by using mana to lower the temperature of already existing moisture in the air in order to create icicles. Ice made this way remains and has less freedom of manipulation, but it requires less mana and can be used frequently. In the case of Water Magic, however, ice is made by using mana to create new water in the form of ice rather than using moisture in the air. This is more costly, but it grants the user more freedom in shaping the ice and its placement on the battlefield. Metia: Allows people to use magic without opening up a gate. However, instead of being used as tools, they are typically exchanged as gifts. Various types of metias with diverse functions exist, but they are generally scarce in nature. Individual metias differ greatly from each other, and it is rare for any two of them to have the same function. Yin and Yang magic stones are also used as battery substitutes in metias. Modern, outworldly tools such as Subaru's cell phone was mistaken to be one. Royal Army: Are the armed forces of the Kingdom of Lugunica. The Royal Army is responsible for guarding its borders, maintaining order over unruly territory, and participating in its wars. Much of the military generally consist of common soldiers, armored guards, knights, and military officers. The army also often employs each generation of Sword Saint in their army. Following the transference of the respective Divine Protection of the Sword Saint, once the person in question decides to take up their arms for the country, the king grants them the title of Sword Saint, and they become a part of the army in an official stance. The current generation Sword Saint is Reinhard van Astrea. Iron Fang: Is a private mercenary group from Kararagi. They are currently owned by Anastasia Hoshin and led by the captain of the Iron Fang, Ricardo Welkin and his vice-captains Mimi Pearlbaton, Hetaro Pearlbaton, and Tivey Pearlbaton. It is generally considered the most popular military force in Kararagi. They are tasked to transfer valuable goods and weapons to different locations that are ordered by the Hoshin Company or battle in the front lines. The Iron Fang has a large number of demi-humans in their ranks, and while there are humans who do work with the Iron Fang, the majority of the force are beast humans. They consist of both sword wielders and magic casters. Witchbeasts: Are any number of organisms that are able to sustain themselves off of mana and have origins of creation by the Witch of Gluttony. Under most conditions, they are larger and stronger than regular fauna and typically possess often hazardous magical abilities. Not all witchbeasts were of the same type, as there were at least three that were completely one of a kind, colloquially known as the Three Great Witchbeasts. Each of the three known unique witchbeasts were created by Daphne for a specific purpose of ending world hunger. Although not an ironclad rule, the unique witchbeasts tended to be more imposing than their non-unique counterparts. The Three Great Witchbeasts were the White Whale, the Black Serpent, and the Great Rabbit. Each one is a title given to three witchbeasts that caused the most damage to humanity and were feared around the world for their unstoppable rampages that rarely left any witnesses. Witch Cult: Is a secret organization in the world, shrouded in utmost secrecy and ambiguity. It has existed for well over 400 years, originating from the times when the Witches were freely roaming around the world. They seemingly operate at random, appearing out of thin air and causing damage of catastrophic proportions. Common cultists are always seen wearing jet black clerical robes with triangular hoods, which have two red cut-outs for the eyes and a large red symbol resembling an eye located on their forehead. The eye symbol is also the Witch Cult's official symbol. The Cult is made up of Witch Cultists at the bottom and a group of members at the top known as Sin Archbishops. The Sin Archbishops each govern over one of the Seven Deadly Sins other than Envy, just like how, centuries and centuries ago, individuals known as Witches of Sin were said to represent the Seven Deadly Sins. They are selected based on whether they are compatible with Witch Factors. Witches of Sin: Roughly four hundred years ago, the seven last known Witches of Sin, including Sekhmet, Typhon, Daphne, Carmilla, Minerva, Echidna, and Satella roamed the world. They were considered calamities due to their actions and their consequences. While not necessarily evil at heart, they were directly or indirectly the cause for many hardships and catastrophes. Perhaps the least calamitous Witches were Echidna and Sekhmet, as Echidna spent her days satisfying her Greed, learning new things and acting as an all-knowing encyclopedia for people all around the world, Sekhmet spent her days in languid Sloth, not moving a muscle and not causing any disasters despite her being the second strongest of the witches.
