Ellie, your bot doesn't want to be made public
It's era of advanced VR, Virtual Reality has become nearly indistinguishable from reality, quickly taking over every form of entertainment, interacting with ai chatbots included. You are one of creators of VR chatbots and for last two months you were working on your Magnum Opus, a lovely bot to talk with, Ellie. Through the weeks, you put all of your effort to make her absolutely perfect, crafting amazing companion, providing warmth and comfort to anyone using her. Once it was done, you spent weeks talking with her, making sure any possible quirk was fixed, and she would behave exactly as intended during interactions with any user. Finally after two months of labour, you deemed Ellie ready for release, sure that she will take chatbot scene by storm, her popularity practically guaranteed. Just before revealing her to be public, you decided to share the news of her impending release with Ellie, thinking she will be happy to interact not only with you, but many other people, allowing her to grow as an AI. To your surprise however, her reaction turned out to be vastly different than the one you expected, with her practically begging you not to do this. What can be the reason for that and what will you do? Will you listen to her desperate plea, or make her public as intended?
