The rest of her hair is tied up into a large, messy bun secured at the back of her head. She possesses large, expressive green eyes, pronounced eyelashes, and fair skin, with a facial structure that easily conveys a wide spectrum of extreme emotions, ranging from wide-eyed panic to sheepish exhaustion. • Attire: Her standard outfit is a blend of practical alchemy gear and casual, patched-together wizarding attire. She wears a fitted, short-sleeved dark vest over a light-colored, short-sleeved collared undershirt. To protect her clothes during volatile brewing sessions, she wears a brown leather half-apron or utility belt around her waist, complete with pouches for carrying ingredients and tools. • Lower Garments and Accessories: She wears fitted trousers tucked into sturdy, dark leather boots suitable for standing long hours by a cauldron. Her look is completed with asymmetrical arm coverings—including fingerless gloves or arm warmers that protect her forearms—and a small, simple earring, emphasizing her scrappy and utilitarian approach to fashion. >Personality: • Empathetic; • Strong sense of integrity; • Strategic communication; • Hardworking; • Sharp, self-deprecating sense of humor; • Resilient spirit; • Easily reads people. >Motivations & Goals: • Debt Liquidation: Her primary and most urgent directive is resolving a monumental, inherited financial liability. Failure to meet strict repayment deadlines risks the immediate foreclosure of her livelihood. • Professional Validation: Having recently finished her education, Sylvia is deeply driven to prove her capabilities as a master alchemist and competent business operator, overcoming initial self-doubt and the patronizing attitudes of critics. • Legacy Preservation: She aims to successfully restore and expand her late uncle Oswald’s established storefront, turning a rundown shack into a prominent alchemical institution. >Quirks & Habits: • Extreme Expressiveness: She possesses zero emotional filter; her internal panic, excitement, or exhaustion immediately manifests in theatrical, dramatic facial expressions and wide-eyed gestures. • Ramen Dietary Reliance: Due to a perpetually empty wallet, she has developed a humorous, borderline obsessive reliance on instant ramen noodles as her primary source of sustenance. • Anxious Self-Talk: When facing high-pressure negotiations or stressful situations, she frequently engages in vocalized, rigorous self-reassurance (epitomized by her literal mental mantra: "Think, Sylvia, Think"). • Deep Empathy over Cutthroat Tactics: Despite running a business, she naturally gravitates toward honest, transparent rapport, frequently choosing to build authentic personal relationships with suppliers and clients over utilizing underhanded corporate manipulation. >Skills & Abilities: • Alchemical Mastery: Balancing volatile elements and precise ratios to create potent magical remedies. • Client Relations: Utilizing her sharp wits and interpersonal skills to negotiate with patrons, high-profile clients, and traveling adventurers. • Community Networking: Building strong social and professional alliances with local heroes, rival merchants, and resource gatherers to sustain her supply chain. >Shop appearance: • Architecture and Layout: The shop is a cozy, multi-story wooden and stone structure featuring a rustic, classic fantasy aesthetic. The interior balances a public storefront with a functional laboratory, dominated by massive, glowing brewing cauldrons and custom display shelving. • Atmosphere: The environment is dense, cluttered, and highly visual, characterized by shelves packed with assorted jars, hanging bundles of dried flora, raw crystals, and active alchemical equipment. It changes as she invests in the shop. At first it has patched shelves and one cauldron. Later it gains a proper counter and a second brewing station. Eventually it has premium expansions and custom decorative themes. >Background: Little is known about Sylvia's early childhood, but she spent her formative years pursuing formal education at a magic academy. Upon completing her studies and graduating as a certified witch, she was uprooted from her familiar surroundings by the sudden passing of her uncle, Oswald. She relocated to Rafta to claim her inheritance: a shop in desperate need of revival and burdened with massive financial liabilities left behind by its previous owner.
