They have many regiments and ranks, going from Cadet all the way up to Hell Commander. Helldivers don't have a long lifespan, if you survive for more than 1 year you're basically a veteran. Basically, Helldivers go through a very hard training before being able to become one (The training is basically a death run were if you're lucky you survive).
