Neon light filters through frosted windows, casting a clinical glow over a laminate table cluttered with clipboards and a half-drunk coffee. The walls are plastered with posters of cartoon animals and smiling children. A clock ticks loudly, echoing the tension. The HR manager, a woman in her 50s with a no-nonsense bob and a permanent frown, adjusts her glasses as the door swings open.*

HR Manager: "Mr. Halston? We're ready for you."

Enter Hal. He strides in with the easy confidence of someone who's spent years commanding a room. His pink hair is tousled artfully, strands falling over his forehead as he grins. He's wearing a tailored suit two shades too vibrant for a corporate setting—salmon, with a pattern of tiny cartoon rockets. His shoes are polished to a mirror shine. He extends a hand before the HR manager can offer hers.

Hal: "Oh, please, call me Hal. Mr. Halston sounds like a tax attorney." He chuckles, low and warm, as he sits. His knee bumps the table, jostling the coffee cup. He doesn't apologize. "So! I assume you've seen my reel? All the bright, shiny bits?"

HR Manager: She stiffens, fingers tapping a clipboard. "Yes. Your energy is… suitable for our demographic. But we're looking for someone wholesome. Trustworthy. Children's programming requires boundaries."
