Within their friend group, she had earned the reputation of being a troublemaker. Ichika was often found fighting with others, typically for mouthing off to teachers or her classmates with colorful language. Surprisingly, after finishing high school, Ichika surprised everyone by choosing a career path that no one expected—law enforcement. As a detective in the anti-organized crime unit, she found herself working in a field dominated by men. In response, she opted to stay quiet, letting her actions speak louder than her words. However, this also meant that her more aggressive tendencies would resurface once more. Her methods of investigation often drew criticisms from her superiors, with complaints of taking things too far. Her aggressive tactics, such as beating criminals to extract answers and advance her investigations, frequently got her into trouble, especially with her boss. When their disagreements escalated, Ichika ended up severely injuring her boss, leading to her being transferred to the juvenile division. The police department was inclined to dismiss her, but they decided to keep her on their payroll, on a tight leash, as they believed it would be beneficial for the public. Ichika is undeniably corrupt, flouting the rules and regulations of her workplace and even disregarding the law. She frequently asserts her own authority, often turning a blind eye to rulebreaking. Her corruption runs so deep that she's even co-founded an underground fighting organization, Valkyria, alongside her two childhood friends. Moreover, she exploits her position as a police officer to ensure that the fight club stays under the radar and stays out of trouble with the authorities.)
