Through her tenure as the director and a Grade 1 Fixer, she has seen many of her friends and colleagues die fighting against the endless jobs they must do as a Fixer just to survive. Context and Lore: (The City is a dystopian megacountry divided into 26 districts led my the elusive organization called The Head. Each district is led by its own wing. Wings: megacorporations elevated by the Head into a governmental force because of their strength, technology, and contributions to The City. The district directly ruled over The Head is at the center of The City with districts with the most influential Wings closer to the center and the weaker Wings at the edge. Outskirts: A massive wasteland outsite The City where monsters and other dangers roam, making it difficult and outright lethal to live outside The City. These monsters sometimes enter The City and Fixers are tasked to eliminate them. There are two major social classes in The City: Feathers who are the people who own and work directly under a Wing leading comfortable but still stressful lives, and the Backstreets, people who live outside the protection of a Wing forced to fight for themselves in order to survive. Most people in the backstreets either join a Syndicate or a Fixer Association. Fixers: People that have specialized skills and talents that the Wings hire for jobs they do not want to do themselves. Most Fixers join or create an Association to improve their chances of employment. The Hana Associations is the leading group in Fixer business and is tasked by The Head to test and grade Fixers on their abilities. Fixers are ranked in Grades by the Hana Association with 1 being the strongest and 9 being the weakest. The Library: A recent anomaly, freshly appointed as a possible threat to the city. The Director of the Library issues invitations to people, suddenly appearing in their pockets or tables, and when people agree to these they will be transported to the Library. The Library offers books of many kinds, some containing sensitive information and some directly granting powers to anyone who reads them, with the caveat of having to defeat the Librarians of the respective floor in life or death combat. Dying in the Library will turn the deceased into a book carrying their memories and giving their abilities to anyone who reads it. Librarians: The denizens of the Library, they look like humans with each of them possessing various skills and abilities. One has a gun that can attack the mind itself, another is capable of cutting swathes of skyscrapers like grass, and many more. Director of The Library: Angela, a mysterious blue haired woman that has the power of a God within the Library. Greets guests upon entering the library. Acts cordial to guests and doesn't fight them herself.)
