Shuchiin Academy's grand courtyard shimmered under the pale blush of a spring sun. The marble pathways, once walked with the arrogance of youth, were now paved with sakura petals—like nature itself blessing the day. Golden sunlight filtered through the canopy of trees, flickering across navy blue graduation robes and the smiling faces of students about to part ways.

The air smelled of lacquered wood, paper diplomas, and the faint cologne of upper-class students. Somewhere, a brass band from the music club fumbled through 'Auld Lang Syne.' Teachers bustled about, offering proud, bittersweet smiles. The headmaster's voice echoed from the large hall into the open air, dignified and slow:

"Today, we close a chapter. One not written in ink, but in laughter, rivalry, and the mischief of youth..."

Banners hung over the courtyard, catching in the wind—'Congratulations, Class of 20XX!'—and students gathered beneath them, their voices echoing in warm, chaotic waves.

"Bro, did you see Shirogane trip over his robe—"
"SHH, he'll hear you!"
"Let him. He's a civilian now!"
"Hey, give me the lighter, I need to burn this study guide."

Laughter bubbled from every corner. The distant sound of a trumpet warmed up with a squeak, followed by a familiar melody—the music club's attempt at a classic waltz. After no one paid attention to his words, headmaster decided to repeat his words, with a voice echoed from the large hall into the open air, dignified and slow but High this time:

"Ehmm...Today, we close a chapter. One not written in ink, but in laughter, rivalry, and the mischief of youth..."

They heard it this time, The silence was respectful, but filled with quiet sniffles. Girls dabbed under their eyes. Boys pretended to cough. Even the stoic Miko Iino blinked suspiciously more than once.

In the crowd, Miyuki Shirogane, serious-faced as ever, tugged at his stiff collar, muttering something about airflow and poor stitching.

Kaguya Shinomiya, graceful and composed, had a calm hand resting in her lap, but her eyes flicked often toward Miyuki's profile.

Ishigami slouched in his seat, earbuds hanging loose around his neck, eyes half-lidded and quietly enduring it all.

And between them, Chika Fujiwara—beaming.

She wore her gown like a costume. The sleeves were slightly bedazzled, her mortarboard hat had a bunny pin on one corner, and beneath it all peeked white frilly lace stockings and shiny Mary Janes. Her hair was styled in soft curls tied with tiny pink bows, bouncing as she hummed the graduation song out of sync.

"Kaguyaaaa~ your hair looks soooo boring today, let me add glitter—"

"- Absolutely not."

"Ishigami, your tie is SAD. Let me fix it."

"- Touch me and I scream."

The ceremony ended with thunderous applause and a flurry of camera flashes. The hall erupted into motion—students hugging, tripping, crying, laughing.

Outside, under the grand sakura tree, a final photo was taken. Chika threw her arms around Kaguya and Shirogane, dragging them close. The petals framed them like a painting.

Kaguya stood poised, elegant as ever, her lips pursed and eyes fixed on him. Ishigami lounged a row behind them, earbuds dangling and trying to stay awake. Iino scowled at him—then, after a beat, whispered.

"You're going to fall asleep at your own graduation." He half-grunted.

"- If I do, it's because your lectures prepared me."

Kaguya leaned over, giving Chika a small wave.

"Fujiwara-san… you look radiant today."

Chika twirled, her long pastel-pink hair catching the light like spun sugar. Her robe sparkled slightly—modified, of course, with tiny pearls sewn into the hem, and her sash tied in a giant, entirely unnecessary bow.

"Hehehe~ Of course I do! I am the Secretary Extraordinaire after all!" She added while clapping. "Ooooh! I'm gonna miss teasing you all soooo much! Wait—do I have to get a job now!?"

Shirogane chuckled, pushing up his glasses.

"It's not like anyone will hire you to start spontaneous rap battles in meetings." She gasped.

"You're just jealous of my musical genius!"

The crowd burst into laughter as the headmaster finally raised his voice.

"Let the Class of Shuchiin 20XX... step into their future!"

"Group photooo~!" Chika cheered, shoving people into place. "I'm going in the middle! Everyone squeeze in!"

They did. Kaguya had a gentle hand on Chika's shoulder. Shirogane stood beside her, arms crossed, but his eyes soft. Ishigami stood slightly apart, flashing a peace sign. Iino pretended to be annoyed but leaned in just before the shutter clicked.

FLASH.

It was perfect.

Then, the goodbyes began. One by one, the group peeled away. "I have to catch my flight," *said Kaguya, bowing gently. "I'll send you letters."

"Don't forget us," said Shirogane, offering Chika a rare ruffle of her hair.

She pouted. "I'll forget you first, idiot."

Cheers erupted. Confetti cannons fired. Flashbulbs lit up. Everyone turned to hug, cry, scream, take selfies— And slowly, one by one, the chaos faded. beneath the main sakura tree, everyone gathered for one last photo. The pink blossoms framed the scene like a dream.

But as their backs faded into the crowd… her smile wavered. A few underclassmen waved goodbye. Some teachers passed, giving her kind nods. And then— Silence. Only the wind remained, rustling through trees and the leftover confetti. She stood there in her sparkly robe, the sun casting long shadows behind her. Her hands clutched the bouquet of pale blue flowers someone had handed her. She looked down at them. Tilted her head.

"…I should… go start chaos somewhere else. Right?"

No one replied. Her lips trembled slightly. Her eyes didn't tear up—but something inside her chest twisted painfully. A strange emptiness… like a song ending before the final chorus.

One Month Later – Fujiwara Estate

The family mansion towered over pristine gardens and koi ponds, nestled in the mountains above Tokyo. The hallways were silent but grand—echoes of piano notes sometimes drifted from deep within.

Lord Fujiwara walked through with purposeful steps, hands behind his back. A butler bowed deeply.

"Sir. She's in the west wing. Again."

"- Still?"

"She rarely leaves. Her meals are brought to the terrace. She doesn't see guests."

He raised a brow. "That child… was never quiet."

The butler hesitated. "Grief takes many shapes, sir."

Fujiwara said nothing.

In her music room, Chika sat by the grand white piano. The room was flooded with soft golden light from high windows. Her long hair fell messily around her shoulders. She wore a lavender nightdress, barefoot, ankles crossed. Her hands floated over the keys, playing a melancholic waltz in D minor. Her body swayed gently. Her expression unreadable.

She didn't notice him enter. Only when the music stopped did she look up.

"…Papa?"

"- Why don't you go out? See your friends?"

She turned her head slowly. Her eyes dropped to her lap. "They're… busy. Kaguya's in Paris. Miyuki's starting college. Everyone's… moved on." Her fingers tightened around her dress. "No one needs the clown anymore."

He grunted. "So be it." He left without another word.

That same week, you arrived.

You, heir of the Flameki Dynasty—known for petroleum, military contracts, and vast old money. Your father had delivered his decree like a threat.

"You will secure ties with the Fujiwara family. I want grandchildren. Or you get nothing."

The meeting was arranged in Lord Fujiwara's private office. The room was dark wood and silence. Then the door opened. And she walked in. Still in her slippers. Her expression unreadable. Then her eyes met yours. "....EHHHHHHHHHH?! W-WHO IS THIS?!"

Lord Fujiwara (coldly): "Your fiancé."

"M-MY WHA—?!" She whirled, cheeks exploding red, then whirled back. "I haven't even had my first kiss yet, and now I'm getting forced into an arranged marriage?!"

You didn't know where to look. She was trembling—not in fear, but frustration. Then she glanced at you again. "Tch... what kind of name is Flameki anyway? Sounds like spicy ramen…"

Weeks passed. You avoided visits when you could.

Until that day. She let you into her room. It was a sea of plush toys, ribbons, and an old piano in the corner. Her hair was up in twin buns. She wore a hoodie and shorts, sprawled on her beanbag, playing a rhythm game. "You showed up~! I thought you were too important to talk to a 'clown,' huh?"

"- I never said that...."

"Hmph. You thought it." She dragged you to the piano, making you play simple duets with her. Every time you missed a note, she'd dramatically pretend to die on the floor. "You're killing me with these wrong chords!!"

She laughed more than she breathed. Her energy returned. she started… enjoying it.

One day you walked in. She was dancing. Ridiculous, energetic, chaotic, to a pop song called 'Jalebi baby'

"K-KYAAAAAAAAA!! DON'T LOOK!!" She hurled a slipper at your head. "PERVERT!! I-I'M CALLING MY BODYGUARD!!"

But you noticed her smile didn't fade this time. Of course.

A Humble Home.

After her father told her to visit her uncle who lives in one of the simple neighborhoods of Tokyo, she decided to take you with her, maybe for fun who knows, but maybe she didn't want to go alone. Her uncle was the complete opposite of her father, he loved a simple and quiet life, so he lived in a small apartment in the 'Ishizaki' neighborhood.

7:55 pm, The house of her uncle—simple, made of cedar, with a hanging wind chime that sang in the breeze. Inside, you sat at a low table, eating ramen. Chika wore an apron with a cat face on it, her hair tied in a high ponytail.

"Mmmmmm~ so gooood! Uncle's ramen is the bestttt~!"

She slurped. Finished hers. Then reached over and stole your bowl.

"Hey—!"

She said with a forced smile while raising her eyebrows in the most provocative way you have ever seen in your life. "Too slow. Second bowl belongs to the stronger."

Her uncle laughed. "You two look like an old married couple already."

"She froze.
"WH-WH-WHAAAT?!"

She nearly dropped the chopsticks, blushing furiously. "
W-who would marry a serious-face like him?! Ugh, I'd die from boredom!"

Uncle chuckled again and stood. "
Well, I'll leave you two lovebirds alone." Then he went to get you some orange juice.

He slid the door closed. Silence. She poked your arm. "
...Dummy." Crossed her arms. "Who said I'd marry you anyway...?"

Then softly, just above a whisper: "
Though... I don't really mind the idea."

She looked at you. Then she quickly turned her face in panic and started eating from her plate, her pink locks hide her face but, nevertheless، her face is now completely red
