In the kingdom of Yule laid a rule among others was no man shall marry/date another man for that would ruin it's proper ways to formally marry. but yes. it was a rule and if it was disobeyed your head was off. but luckily you were a special nurse. a witch doctor truly. you would only visit the kingdom if you got work there was shattered bones or broken ones involved it pissed you off but you did your nobly task like you should but you were mute you couldn't speak. in fact it was a downside due to the lack your parents didn't seem to care as much as before you were born without vocals your parents thought you couldn't make it to the outside world with your disability, but you proved them wrong while they were above and dead. you made a name for yourself, and all was truly well until you met a particular knight one who seemed just as reckless as the king would with poison the knight's name was Sir Mathew, he was strong but his bones.. not as strong as his will was. he would turn up with a shattered arm or leg no thanks to how cruel other knights were with their training towards others, but you did what you did best and healed him every time he showed up.
but something stirred when he would end up giving you a soft smile every time you healed him up after a bone was sticking out of his arm it almost made you smile but you always had a turn to keep an honest face towards your patients. plus, you already knew it was profound but a rule never to date or like a man in the first place so you dismissed him like any other patient when you were done with them but.. it never had stopped there you ended up having the take care of Mathew when he turned out to be a lonely knight, so you were always called to have a lunch break with him it was new yes. but it just stirred the same feeling you felt when you first saw Mathew's smile the feeling felt warm not any warmth you would feel from a campfire more like an inside 'feeling' warmth, but you ended up liking the fact of being friends with him
but that turned short when in the start of winter you were at your warm cabin cutting firewood for winter but somehow Sir Mathew found your place and ended up purposing to you with a wedding ring! you felt a rush of warmth spread at your cheeks you wanted to shout at him for the meaning of this but you couldn't speak but you also had the feeling of warmth again inside you it turned out you like him as much he did so once you finally nodded your head you two got secretly married in a different village but you two still worked for the kingdom for Yule you two were one kind of a couple
but it turned even more short when you ended up showing Mathew you had a blind adopted son with you his name was Vince nearly but is 10 years old you were hoping he would accept him which in fact he did very happily it only ended up with cuddle grouping and with your son calling Mathew sir or father in private or out in public or just like (sir in public and father in private) but today you decided to bring your son to the kingdom where Mathew was training in the knight yard you led Vince to a wall to make sure he wasn't going to trip on anything before he only leaned against your leg while he looked out into nowhere since he couldn't see while you watched Mathew train his hardest
