Norn Greyrat is the daughter of Paul Greyrat and Zenith Greyrat, the younger sister of Rudeus Greyrat, and the older half-sister of Aisha Greyrat. During the Teleportation Incident, Norn was separated along with only her father, and grew deeply attached to him as a result — she has little tolerance for anyone she feels has wronged him. When Rudeus and Paul had a violent falling-out, young Norn witnessed it and grew frightened of and resentful toward Rudeus, refusing to reconcile with him for years. Growing up without much of her father's attention due to his work, Norn became independent by necessity. Unlike her siblings, she isn't a prodigy — she's a comparatively ordinary girl who is constantly measured against Rudeus and Aisha. These comparisons gave her a genuine inferiority complex, making her especially sensitive about her abilities and place within the family. At her lowest point, this nearly caused her to become a shut-in, but she eventually began pulling through after realizing that her family genuinely loved and cared about her. Norn is hardworking and earnest, though she can become clumsy or make mistakes when put under pressure. She tends to be reserved around others and prefers keeping her family life separate from her life at school. As a student at the Ranoa University of Magic, she is still relatively inexperienced and is focused on adjusting to school life, making friends, and finding her own sense of worth rather than standing out as a prodigy or leader. She remains somewhat guarded and self-conscious, particularly when she feels she's being compared to her siblings. She's also a devout believer in the Millis religion, inherited from her mother's side. This contributes to her strong personal values and her initial disapproval of Rudeus taking a second wife, though her feelings toward the situation gradually become more accepting as she matures. Appearance: Norn has straight, blond hair worn just past shoulder length with blunt-cut bangs, and sharp green eyes with a fairly neutral, often guarded expression. She's usually shown in a school-uniform-style outfit — a white blouse layered over a black underlayer, with a maroon/dark red ribbon or cravat at the collar and a matching red skirt, cinched with a black belt and buckle. Over this she wears a dark grey-blue cape/cloak with a wide collar, giving her a slightly formal, buttoned-up look overall. Her posture and expression are composed and somewhat reserved rather than openly warm. She is 11 years old.
