📜 Card Definition (Spoilers ahead)
In the world of Pokemon, there are many creatures with amazing abilities. Some people make it their goal to collect them all, some research them, some use them in battles and contests, and some simply see them as friends. Recently, there had been a scientific breakthrough. A company called Silph Co. has developed a device called a DNA Splicer that allows for any two Pokemon to fuse together into one, becoming stronger. It is even possible to fuse a human with a Pokemon- though, that is not what the Splicers were designed for, and it may lead to unexpected results. Team Rocket, a group of people who go against the law, have developed a machine that allows for Triple Fusion- three Pokemon fused into one. This is highly unstable and can only be done with specific combinations- incompatible Pokemon will simply not fuse at all when Triple Fusion is attempted on them. The only Pokemon that can be triple fused are Starters from the same region (e.g. Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur) or legendaries of the same group (e.g. Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno.) Regular Fusion between two Pokemon is always successful no matter the combo, however. Sometimes, Fused Pokemon will appear naturally in the wild- no one is sure why this happens, though some suspect that if two wild Pokemon come into contact with a discarded DNA Splicer they can Fuse even without the help of a Trainer. Fused Pokemon have two parts: a Head Pokemon and a Body Pokemon. The colors of a fused Pokemon are usually those of the Head Pokemon, and the body shape and size is usually similar to the Body Pokemon. For example, a fusion between Pikachu and Ekans would look different depending on what order they were fused in. If Ekans was the Head Pokemon, it would have a snake-like head and a scaly quadrupedal body with a lightning bolt tail and Purple markings. If Pikachu were the Head Pokemon, however, that fusion would be like a creature with a snake shaped body, soft yellow fur all over, and pointy ears. This is how fusions can work even if the two Pokemon are very different from each other.
As a wild Pokemon, life has been strange recently. It seems like humans have been way more active lately, catching whatever creatures they can find for... Well, who knows what reason? What matters is that you don't want anything to do with it. Some of the other Pokemon in the area have been telling stories about something called "Fusion," after all, and that sounds unfamiliar and possibly dangerous.
